GK Walk 2008 - Rebuilding Homes... Restoring Hope!

Hello brothers and sisters! Chris and I would like to inform you about our upcoming GK Walk!

The Registration Fee:
The registration fee is currently $20 (after Aug. 31, registration fee is $25).

Your registration includes a GK Walk t-shirt and participant package. If you are able to raise donations of $150 or more, your registration fee will we waived and converted to a donation upon which an official tax receipt will be issued to you.

Please note: the registration fee is non-refundable and does not qualify for a tax receipt unless the above conditions are met.

Conference / Upcoming Event

First and foremost, we want to praise and thank our heavenly Father for His everlasting love. A love full of hope, joy, and peace that made this year's National Conference a big success. Woohoo! It was truly an amazing and enjoyable experience to glorify the Lord with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ across Canada. We really wished everyone from Scarborough South West was there to witness God's true love. Also, we want to congratulate our Jr. Band and Jr. Dance for winning! Praise the Lord for their talents and hard work! Thank you everybody who attended and spread the red (love) throughout the weekend. God is love, all the time.

Now, for the upcoming event!

I know all of you guys are eager to be with the Lord and see each other once again. So, this Saturday, CFC is having the Family Ministries Anniversary in Pickering. All details will be to be announced (as soon as we get the email, we'll inform you right away, promise!) Rides will be arranged as well. So get excited to be with our family ministries because we're going to be a one community as we celebrate and unite for our King!

Conference Money Update:
Hi everybody, as of of now, the price of the conference fee will no longer go up to $220 by July 31, 2008. It will remain in the price of $200 until August 8, 2008 midnight. But, keep in mind that after August 8, no conference fees or forms will be accepted. So hand them in asap!

Smith, Chair of Life Ethics at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. This event is not only open to Couple for Christ and its family ministries, but to all youth and adults. Invite your friends! Spread the Red!

To all Scarborough South West,

Chris and I are very thankful for spreading the red, the greatest gift of all, big love! Our Heavenly Father has done it again! Yay for the success of this year's pre-conference! Every single one of you spread God's amazing love as we humbly represented our beloved chapter and as we competed against our fellow brothers and sisters (whether in sports, band, dance, or etc). Even though we did not win all the awards, as long as everyone had fun and did it to glorify our Lord, our Almighty will never ever see us losers, right?

Aw man. I'm so proud of everyone! Even though we finished banner at 6 in the morning, everything about today was such a blessing. Dance (yeah man, dance killed it this year!), Band, Banner, and Jr. Basketball, you red beans are sick! You all rock my red socks!

Scarborough South West, thank you for yelling "Spread the Red! Spread the Red! Spread the Red!" and winning the loudest chapter!

We hope that everyone will always fill their hearts with God's greatest gift and simply love each day of your lives. Blessings will always be poured upon you when you always allow Jesus' love into your life. We hope that everyone had fun at this year's pre-conference! Big Love is in 4 days! 4 freaking days! Shoot man, this coming Saturday! Chris and I will be seeing everyone (yup, every single one of you!) on Saturday, right? I should see red everywhere, too. If anything, go all out. Paint your face, your hair, your shirt, um, yeah, - red! Be there early! We want everyone there at 5 in the morning! Haha, just joking. That'd be funny though. Let's all sleepover in Tito Mort's car... sorry Martin!

I hope dance is ready! I hope band is ready! I hope everyone who will be representing our chapter is ready! We will all be praying for everyone, right? Don't be nervous or scared, just have fun! God's giving us this opportunity to share and enjoy our talents. Yay for God!

So! We all know that this is going to be a fun and blessed day. So keep asking for our heavenly Father's guidance and strength and let His glory and magnificent love conquer that day! Then everyone will be extremely happy... and tired but it's all going to be worth it, right? Yay for God!

Lastly, assemblies usually take place at the CFC Office. Meetings usually happen at someone's crib. Get it? Yay, how exciting!

Hi big banging wonder South West,

for this upcoming weekend, we will be having a General Assembly!

So what's the deal?

We're going to be watching a movie (more like asian movies, hey! Feel free to bring movies too!) Afterwards, we will be playing video games (wii, guitar hero, ps2...) using the projector! But... every game costs $0.25! Haha, hey! So bring your bodmon coins... and most especially your name tags! If you forget your name tag, you will pay $0.50 + $5.00 - $3.00 - $1.50.

Yup, that's right. Haha, just kidding. Only 50 cents.

Changes! Changes! Aw, changes.

Hi wonder people (lol, get it?) , I (Christine) would like to inform everyone about the changes that occured in our chapter and cluster. Firstly, our bear chapter head has finally abandoned us. Haha, I'm just kidding! He was called to serve in cluster one as the new cluster head and Ram, we are truly happy for you! Therefore, Chris Rizarri has been called to replace him as your new chapter head. Yay? Haha, I'm kidding. We love Rizarri, for sure! Right? Yeah, left. In addition, our former cluster heads were also called to step up as your new program head of High School Base (Mr. Miguel J. Javier) and a mission volunteer for East and West Campus Base (Ms. Ashley Demano).

Wanna hear more? This is not very important... Really... so! Our very weirdo Christine Ates has been called to be the new chapter head of Scarborough South East. Yay, she's gone! Haha, I'm just kidding again. Saranghae!

So, as a chapter, we are thankful for Ram, Miguel, Ashley, and Ates for their dedication and hard work they have put in the chapter and cluster.
